What Done It?

"Well, let's just drop in." Ashley stated.

"Okay," Thomas replied, walking in.

The black and white Mew frowned. He sent the news to Thunder and told the Pikachu that he was going to keep looking into this. The mouse sent a reply back through their mind link before Dark flew inside after the two.

Ashley and Thomas walked onto the property. It was nicely and spookily decorated, just like a haunted house. Ashley didn't want to admit it but Spark did a decent job.

Thomas looked around, his flame low enough for him and the water type to see.

The cat floated beside them, glancing around the inside of the house.

The two kept looking around, the house coldly spooky.

The Mew snorted. "He went all out this time around I see."

Ashley shot up, her fin on the top of her head sensing something.

"Ashley?" Thomas asked, looking at his girlfriend.

"Something is wrong," she answered. "I sense something up ahead."

Dark perked his ears at that and glanced forward, wondering what it could be that she sensed. He could feel it too, but he didn't know what it was either.

Thomas got ahead of Ashley, going into the next room. It was there that they found Spark on the floor, bleeding badly. The condition he was left in was enough to make Ashley scream of pure horror. Thomas took his pulse and looked at her.

"He's dead." He pronounced.

Dark blinked and floated over to the dead body of the Raichu. It was as Thomas had said: He was dead. The Mew floated back away from the corpse and sighed. There was a murderer somewhere. Someone had done this. But the question was, who?

"W-we gotta let Rosie know!" Ashley cried, more than ready to run.

"I agree but I ain't gonna leave him out in the open. Help me get a sheet," Thomas stated, firmly.

Ashley trembled as she got a sheet with her top fin and helped Thomas cover Spark with it.

"N-Now can we go?" She asked, shaking.

"We have to seal off the room too, it is now a crime scene." Thomas answered, escorting the scared Mudkip out of the room.

Once they were out, Thomas pushed some rocks to cover the door so no one could get in or out.

Dark used Teleport to appear where Thunder, Rosie, and Sparky were at. The orange Pikachu and red Raichu glancing up, surprised to see the black and white Mew back to soon.

"We have a bit of a problem," he told them. "A big one."

"In more ways than one," Ashley stated.

"Rosie, your dad has been murdered." Thomas commented.

The purple Pikachu froze on the spot. She knew Thomas was always serious and it was often Kenny pulling the jokes. Her ears pinned back as she slowly shook her head.

"N-no, he can't be..." She denied, expecting her father to jump out and almost kill her with a Hyper Beam...again.

Upon thinking that, she started to hyperventilate.

"Rosie, Rosie, calm down, it's okay," Thunder told her.

Kenny sighed, "Probably remembering the time her dad almost killed with a Hyper Beam. Let's just say he was not a nice guy."

"Granted, he wasn't, but we have to at least figure out what happened to him," Sparky said. "It's only fair. After we calm her down..."

"I'm surprised I am not joining her," Ashley commented. "That scared me!"

"I'm gonna have to make a list of suspects then," Thomas stated. "I will eliminate you all mainly because you all had alibis."

"Right. That leaves people who was at the party," Thunder added.

"Exactly." Thomas agreed, as Rosie calmed down.

"Do you know who all was there?" Sparky questioned.

Ashley nodded as she answered, "A Rapidash, a Magnezone, an Alakazam, two Pichus, two Oshawotts, and three Snivy's."

"Then that's who we're going to have to question."

"Then allow Detective Thomas Chimchar handle this case!" Thomas stated, as he magically somehow changed into a Sherlock Holmes costume.

"I'm not even going to question how you did that," Sparky sighed.

Thomas smiled sheepishly.
