What Done It?

He nodded. "Yeah, I sort of figured."

"What am I gonna do?!" She asked, scared out of her mind.

Thunder was by her side in an instant. He placed his paws on Rosie's shoulders before he pulled her into a hug. "It's going to be okay. We don't have to go if you don't want to," he told her.

"I don't want to!" She yelped.

"The only way she would go is if something happened to her dad," Kenny stated truthfully.

"Then we won't go," he told her. He glanced over at Kenny and nodded. "True."

Kenny nodded as Rosie calmed down. Well, she did love trick-or-treating. It was always a lot of fun to dress up and have fun with friends.

"Trick-or-treating then!" She exclaimed happily. "Wanna come with us, Kenny?"

"Sure, sounds like fun!" He stated, all happy.

"Then that's what we'll do on Halloween then."

Dark smiled as he watched them. Though the ghost cat couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen over the next few days that was going to halt those plans.. Thunder twitched one ear, glancing up at his friend. He felt the same feeling as the Mew.

"Maybe Ashley and Thomas can join?" Rosie asked Kenny, hopefully.

"I can ask but I think they have their hearts set on the haunted house," Kenny answered modestly.

To this, Rosie pouted.

"A haunted house?" Thunder asked, looking over at their friend.

"The haunted house Rosie's dad is holding," Kenny explained further.

He flicked his tail at that. Of course, they didn't know about Static and why Rosie wasn't so keen on seeing him because of those reasons. Thunder nodded to what the electric squirrel had said. "I see."

"Yeah that's not so keen about going." Kenny stated.

"Obviously," Rosie slightly joked.

Thunder chuckled lightly at that. "We're not going to make you go. We already agreed on going Trick or Treating on Halloween. There's no reason to change it now. If they want to go, then let them I guess?"

"Might as well," Kenny stated.

Dark nodded. "I'll keep an eye on them if you'd like."

"Please and thank you!" Kenny replied.

The black and white Mew nodded. "No problem."

Three days later, Halloween finally came. Rosie was dressed like a witch, with her long dark purple witch hat and her golden scepter with a pink orb on top. Kenny was dressed as a jack-o-lantern. It wasn't as creative as Rosie's but he was still proud of it.

Thunder dressed up in his wizard's outfit, since he and Rosie had agreed to dress with matching outfits for the most part. Sparky was tagging along with them dressed as a ghost.

"This is gonna be fun!" Rosie declared.

"It'll be a lot of fun," Sparky agreed.

Thunder nodded in agreement. Dark and went off to keep an eye on what was going on at Rosie's house like he had promised, leaving the Electric-types alone to go Trick or Treating.

Meanwhile, at the haunted house, Ashley was dressed as a princess while Thomas was a knight in shining armor.

Dark floated beside the two, glancing around the haunted house. The ghost cat flicked his long tail before turning his red eyes on the two Pokémon he was with.

"This is so exciting." Ashley commented.

"I know. Too bad Spark is a jerk to Rosie." Thomas stated.

Ashley looked sad as she replied, "I know but we are here to make sure that he doesn't come after her."

"Right," Thomas responded, nodding.

Dark flicked an ear at that. Come after Rosie?
