What Done It?

The night was cold and dark. The wind was blowing rather spooky through the trees, sounding like an eerie creepy moan. Little did everyone know, it was.

It all started one day in the Leaf Green Village, filled with all sorts of Pokémon. One Pokémon in particular was different from all the rest. It was the purple Pikachu all except for the pink cheeks, ear tips, stripes on the back, and tail base.

Her name was Rosie. She looked out into the field, feeling the sun on her face. The wind slightly tickled her fur as she sighed contently.

"Daydreaming, are we?" A voice teased.

Rosie giggled as she looked at her Pachirisu friend, Kenny.

"Was not," she teased right back.

"Ahuh." He chuckled, the red scarf around his neck dancing in the wind. He had been a part of a Pokémon rescue team called Team Pokepals, which was comprised of him, a Chimchar named Thomas, and a Mudkip named Ashley. "Excited for Halloween?"

"Aren't I always?" She laughed, flicking her purple tail. She paused as she stated, "But it doesn't take a Lucario to know you are hiding something from me!"

"Nuh-uh." He denied rather quickly. "I know nothing!"

"Pfft, we will see," she stated. "Don't forget, Ashley never lies to me."

"Alright, alright," he replied, waving his paws. "I know when I am beat. There is supposed to be a really banging murder mystery on Halloween night at your dad's place."

Rosie didn't know whether to scream from happiness or in pure and utter terror.

"My dad?! Are you sure?" She asked him, her happiness now completely gone.

"Afraid so," Kenny answered, handing her an invite. "And he's inviting us to his party in three days!"

Hearing that, Rosie fainted.

Thunder was heading back with some apples in his paws. Dark floated beside him, using his Psychic to carry some berries. The orange Pikachu flicked his tail as he and his ghostly fat friend walked. Halloween was in a few days, and everyone was getting ready for the spooky day. There were spooky things all around the villages and candy the older Pokemon were getting to hand out to the trick or treats come the night.

If you weren't getting ready for that, then you were getting ready for the Halloween party that was going to be taking place. The two knew how Rosie felt about her dad, and for it to be taking place there, they could only guess that she wasn't taking it very well. It was for that very reason that the Electric/Dark-typed mouse was hurrying back to the village. He didn't want her to worry about all this. Besides, they didn't have to go if they didn't want to. He wasn't going to force Rosie to go if she didn't feel like.

The two could always go and do something else after all. Like go trick or treating. That would be fun, wouldn't it? But it was all up to the purple Pikachu.

Kenny poked Rosie gently, trying to wake her.

"Rosie? Rosie, can you wake up please?" Kenny asked, worried.

Thunder was gonna kill him if anything happened to her. It was no secret that the two were together like Thomas and Ashley. But Rosie was like a little sister to him and he didn't want her to be hurt or anything.

"Please Rosie wake up!" Kenny begged, shaking her.

Sparky poked his head out of the den. The red Raichu made his way over to the other two Electric-types and looked down at Rosie. The older mouse flicked his long tail before looking at the Pachirisu. "What happened Kenny?"

"She fainted! I told her about the party at her dad's in three days and she fainted!" Kenny yelped, freaking out. "Thunder is gonna kill me!"

The Raichu waved his paw for the younger electricity being to calm down. "Relax. My little brother isn't going to kill you, Kenny. You're just overreacting. Are you calm now?"

"Not really!" Kenny admitted, running around in circles. "Thunder is gonna kill me, you do NOT understand man..."

"I think I understand my brother," the Raichu told him. "Thunder's not going to kill you, Kenny. Relax and calm down. Getting worked up like this isn't going to help anyone."

"I hope not..." Kenny shuttered.

"You'll be fine, Kenny. I promise."

"So how do we wake her?"

Sparky tapped his chin in thought. How were they going to wake her? The Raichu shrugged. "I would say we wait for her to wake up, but Thunder would be worried about her if he saw her fainted like this. And there's no telling how long she'll be out for either..."

"Grand, just grand." Kenny grumbled.

"We'll figure something out Kenny."

"Okay Sparky."

The Raichu nodded and begun thinking of what they could do to wake Rosie up before Thunder and Dark returned.

Kenny was doing the same, worried about Rosie.

"...You could try shocking her," Sparky told the younger Electric-type. "Since she's part Electric, it won't do much damage to her. It could help wake her up."

"Good idea!" Kenny replied, going over to his friend.

He gave her a small Spark attack, hoping to wake her.

"Let us hope it works," the red mouse muttered, watching.

Rosie slowly started to open her eyes, groaning.

"It's working Kenny," Sparky told him.

"Thank Mew..."

Sparky nodded. Not long after Rosie woke up thanks to Kenny, Thunder and Dark made their way back into the village. The orange mouse sat the apples he had down into the pile of food and the ghost cat did the same. The black and white Mew floated over to the group, followed shortly after by his charge.

"We're back!" Thunder greeted happily. "Did you miss us?"

Rosie had her ears pinned back. Of course she missed Thunder. But what was she gonna do about this party? She really didn't want to see her dad again. All she wanted was to be happy. And it wasn't happening with this hanging over her head.

Kenny saw this as he sighed and answered, "We all missed you but I think Rosie has her mind elsewhere."
